New cash machine fraud
Hello everyone i want to share with all Chingford community my morning experience at Tesco cash machine on station road, today at 6 am. I went to withdraw £200 and the ATM refused to dispense money. I checked the bottom slot and noticed a metal piece blocking the money. I called a Tesco operator and decided to remove the piece of metal with a screwdriver. The operator stopped the machine temporarily and after removing the metal plate I noticed that my money had not been returned but was stuck to a piece of cardboard with adhesive. Please be vigilant and carry out a visual check of the ATM before putting your card inside.
