The Meerkats were a traditional Neighbourhood Watch symbol, loved by Police and locals alike. In 2011, this multi-coloured Meerkat sign was used by Neighbourhood Watch, who now no longer use this sign exclusively. Look out is still use by Police today, for the Look Up Look out theft prevention campaign. The Meerkat’s look out was associated with this.

Today’s Police campaign is plain white wording on a black background.

Today’s Neighbourhood Watch organisation only uses stylized people in a circle, removing all relation to the Police Officers, they had in their logo since the last decade. We do not show their current logo. We are not affiliated to Neighbourhood Watch. We need a local solution that is workable in our borough.
