Please see our latest post about an important update.

Meet every 3-4 months and are organised by the Tower Hamlets Ward Safer Neighbourhood Team in partnership with the Ward Panel chair.

Each ward has a ward panel. There is limited membership, but this should rotate. To notify your local SNT of your interest to join your local ward panel please contact your local team. See here

It will take some time to get a version for the general public ready.

Safer Neighbourhood Board

The SNB administers the running of the Ward Panel management board in Tower Hamlets. A FOI request with MOPAC has resulted in telling us that there is currently a consultation going on about a way forward for Ward Panels and SNB Boards.

Documents sent to us are out of date and do not explain the latest funding policy for Met Engage and why X accounts have been shut down.

The London Assembly lists a page of all Met Engage related meetings here and we currently examine this data.

We have been informed on 1. September 2025, there is no new document available to explain SNB funding.
