We are a new organisation and as such it involves a little waiting time before we are largely known online as well as on the ground.

From our starting point on 23. December ’til today it took just over 4 weeks to get recognition. When we had quite a few stumbling blocks to get over, leaving Neighbourhood Watch and starting a new idea. Working in community safety with council, police, government agencies always attracts a lot of scrutiny. People are reluctant to join, especially also as we ask for a small joining fee. Normally everything is free in Tower Hamlets when it comes to community services, but not us.

We do not get funding from the Council, Police, MOPAC or government but finance ourselves and ask people for a very small contribution. Even though anyone can donate at any time they like.
