adjoins to the busy Bethnal Green Underground station, which has 3 exits, of which 2 lead to or into Bethnal Green Gardens on either side of the Roman Road and near St. John’s on Bethnal Green Church on one side and the Bethnal Green Library and the Bethnal Green disaster memorial on the other.

Litter is a constant issue.

Friends of Bethnal Green Gardens have started a litter picking group, which meets every third Saturday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Bethnal Green library. All are welcome, please bring gloves to protect your hands from germs. See also our event calendar for events in Tower Hamlets.
