We are concentrating on support for families with children in this article.

We often hear from people who feel powerless and have no inspiration to report crime or do not know how to prevent crime from afflicting their own life.

Of course some online social media accounts specialise into showing crime scenes and reports in the most graphic ways possible. That can seriously down your mood and increase anxiety and fear.

Important are solutions to problems and if you are financially unable to finance your own solutions the first point of contact is our local Council.

Sending your children into cadet schemes, but others just want support when they need it.

The poorest borough in terms of child poverty.

Tower Hamlets Council has a huge family support system and you should use it if you need it. That might help prevent your child from entering the criminal gangs who can destroy their lives.

See a leaflet about Early Help and Children and Family Services.

There is now a Family Hubs website, providing a wealth of information and services.
