see our Best Practise Page for Crime reporting
Dealing with ASB and crime we need to follow some steps to ensure that our actions are as effective as possible.
We urge you to only report to the Council if you absolutely have no other option as there is no automatic data-sharing between Council and police. Often people complain that agency collaboration lacks and indeed data collected by Tower Hamlets Council ASB teams, THEOs is protected. They do not have to share with police automatically. If you are not sure where to report, contact us. Members have automatic access to our members’ only WhatsApp group others can use our online forms or contact us on social media.
Follow these simple steps to achieve attention being paid to your local problems by law enforcement and support agencies.
Most problems happens because of 5 reasons:
- large-scale anti-social behaviour
- repetitive crime like burglary and drug-dealing after it happened
- Council services
- Homeless
