- The Captain’s inspection
- The Captain’s Inspection will take place at 3pm at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, on days when Changing of the Guard does not take place.
- This formal inspection ensures the highest standards are always maintained.

Please note,
- pull along suitcases with handles
- bicycles
- climbing on walls, monuments
are not permitted during the ceremony between 10:15 – 12 noon within the palace vicinity nor the Queen Victoria Memorial.
Spectator movement during guard parades is restricted in the area.
We advise you to be early as there are huge crowds coming to watch, as this is a favourite tourist spot.
