ASB AWARENESS WEEK
Officers are reminding residents to be aware of anti-social behaviour (ASB) linked to social media activity in the local area.
We’ve seen instances where individuals are posting videos and images online that may involve drug use, weapons, or behaviour likely to cause concern or alarm. Even when intended as attention-seeking or “for show”, this type of content can:
- Increase fear within the community
- Escalate tensions between groups
- Lead to serious consequences for those involved
Carrying or displaying weapons, including knives or machetes, is illegal and extremely dangerous.
We are working to:
- Identify those involved in ASB and criminal activity
- Engage with young people to prevent escalation
- Take enforcement action where offences are identified
What you can do
Report concerns about ASB or suspicious activity
Avoid sharing or amplifying harmful content online
Speak to young people about the risks and consequences
If you have concerns or information, please report via:
101 (non-emergency)
Online via the Met website
Always call 999 in an emergency
Together, we can help keep our community safe.

Previously ASB Week was held in the summer.

I publish a lot on social media about the issue. Please contact via social media channels or use the contact page to let me know about your situation. You can also upload material and I shall strive to do a comprehensive overview and submit to Council and police.
Hopefully you find all the advice you need on the ASB page and Report page.
