Grenfell Memory Project
The public consultation for the Grenfell Memory Project runs from 19 May to 11 August 2026. We are inviting close families of the deceased, survivors, the wider Grenfell communities, and residents across the five North Kensington wards to share their views on our proposals.
The term ‘close families of the deceased’ has been defined by feedback during the pre-consultation engagement period. We use it to mean close family members of those who died, including spouses or partners, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, and a family nominated relative. By broad consensus, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends are excluded.
Your feedback will help shape how the project moves forward. Source London Fire Brigade
Consultation Proposals
Based on early feedback from the pre‑consultation phase, we are now consulting on five proposals for the Grenfell Memory Project. The proposals are shown as you go through the questionnaire, but you can also read them on our proposals page.
London Assembly survey
Extreme heat is becoming an increasing problem in London as a result of climate change. The 2022 heatwave saw record temperatures recorded across the UK, with London hitting 40°C that July. The London Assembly Planning and Regeneration Committee is investigating whether London’s homes are ready for a heatwave.
