The use of Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) became a criminal offence on 8. November 2023. It is classified as a Class C drug.

Sadly users changed from small canisters to big ones bought by the box. The purchase of such items could be limited to licensed dealers for example to prohibit abuse.
It is not in all cases that nitrous oxide was used but please report it straightaway to the the police. Ring 999 if someone’s life is in danger.
